Buffy Andrews

REVIEWS

“A suspenseful story with real emotional depth. I couldn’t stop thinking about Julia and Maize."

“A thriller that feels uncomfortably close to reality—with twists that hit hard.”

“An emotional story about love, truth, and the courage to fight for both.”

\

The truth didn’t disappear.
It was rewritten.

Some secrets are buried.

Others are still watching.

When Julia Morgan’s husband dies under circumstances that refuse to make sense, grief is the only thing she can hold on to—until it isn’t enough.

Because Ben didn’t just leave memories behind.

He left a trail.

What begins as a search for answers pulls Julia—and her fiercely intelligent daughter, Maize—into a hidden world where surveillance runs deeper than anyone imagined… and where memory itself can be altered, erased, or rewritten.

The system was never shut down.
It evolved.

Now, as Julia follows the clues Ben risked everything to protect, she realizes the truth is more dangerous than the lie. The deeper she goes, the more the lines blur between what’s real, what’s remembered… and what’s been changed.

And it's been waiting.

Three girls. Nine decades. One unbreakable bond.

They grew up on the same street—sharing secrets, dreams, and a friendship that shaped their lives.

Then life pulled them in different directions.

Evie chased stories.

Dot fought for justice.

Maggie built a family.

Now, at ninety, they’re reunited at Manchester Meadows Nursing Home—older, changed, but still connected by the past they share.

When a winter storm hits and Evie disappears, everything shifts.

The search for her becomes a journey through memory, love, and the moments that defined them—forcing each woman to face what she’s held onto… and what she’s never let go.

The Victory Club is a heartfelt story about friendship, resilience, and the ties that time can’t break.

Perfect for fans of Elizabeth Berg, Clare Pooley, and The Thursday Murder Club.

Bio

About me

When I was a teenager, I carried around a yellow spiral notebook. On the cover, in thick black marker, I proudly wrote: Words of Wisdom by Buffy Andrews.

With all the confidence of a 13-year-old, I filled its pages with thoughts about life and chasing your dreams.

That notebook is torn and tattered now, but I still have it—
and I’m still chasing my dreams.

I am a USA TODAY and Amazon bestselling author of women’s fiction, contemporary romance, and thriller/suspense novels.

My bestselling titles include The Perfect Husband, The Moment Keeper, The Christmas Violin, and A Year of Second Chances.

A two-time Pulitzer judge, I spent nearly 30 years as a journalist before launching Andrews Creative Concepts.

In addition to writing books, I also help clients preserve their stories by writing personal memoirs—heartfelt keepsakes that honor their lives, their lessons, and their legacy for generations to come.

Every story matters. Every life holds moments worth remembering. Helping people capture those moments is one of the great joys of my work.

I live in southcentral Pennsylvania with my husband, Tom, where I’m usually writing, reading, golfing, playing pickleball or hunting for my next great idea.

Once again, Andrews proves she can write about difficult topics.

This time she takes on a psychopath who is not the person he appears to be.

This is the kind of book that after you are done reading, you want to buy a copy for all the important people in your life. A must read!

Andrews’ latest book had me laughing one moment and teary-eyed
the next. She has the ability to take life moments we can all relate to and skillfully weave them into a story.
